Parichay aims to introduce open and free learning for children in the slums of Kolkata and the Tea Estates of North Bengal. It introduces processes, techniques, and teaching tools that are innovative and generate joyful learning experiences for these children. Parichay aims to ignite immense interest and excitement in children about learning subjects of their choice and gradually bridge the gap between their informal learning and the established, recognized, formal education system. This will enable them to establish their own dignified identities and contribute to the upliftment of their communities.

Beyond The Books

Beyond the Books is an expression that means gaining knowledge through experience rather than just reading about it. Parichay (Beyond the Books) also believes in the same theory. Our mentors are helping students become future-ready in every aspect of life. We focus on self-reflection, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, maintaining good health, and emotional control. Schools may not teach students how to handle everyday challenges, but personal experiences do. Beyond the Books is preparing students to accept challenges and overcome them. We teach them through our own experiences, childhood stories, motivational anecdotes, and short videos featuring popular heroes of India.
